About Pecos
Pecos Fence & Gate builds residential and commercial fencing with a focus on strong structure, clean details, and a straightforward process from free estimate to final walkthrough.
Why Pecos
The Pecos name comes from West Texas: simple, durable, understated, and tied to the outdoors. We bring that same approach to the work—clear planning, a readable estimate, solid construction, and a finished property that looks right.
That means using stronger structure where it matters, being clear about what is included, and planning gates and transitions before installation. Different properties need different solutions.
We call Fate home and serve homeowners, businesses, builders, and property managers across Rockwall, Rockwall County, and East DFW—from everyday fence replacement and repair to commercial fencing and custom gate projects.
On our standard wood privacy builds, we favor Japanese cedar pickets, steel posts, and 2×4 rails. A typical six-foot design uses three horizontal rails; an eight-foot design uses four, with post and footing details planned around the actual site. We use fast-setting concrete where appropriate, and explain any project-specific changes in the estimate.

We start with how the site is used: privacy, pets, pools, vehicles, equipment, views, access, drainage, neighbors, and the way the fence meets the rest of the property.
Posts, rails, gate framing, concrete, fasteners, and transitions are not hidden details. They are the parts that decide whether the visible fence stays where it belongs.
A customer should know the style, height, material, gates, demo, haul-off, staining, and special conditions before the crew starts digging.
The final gate should function, the transitions should make sense, and the work area should be left in a condition that feels finished rather than abandoned.
