Wrought iron that complements the property.
Pecos offers wrought iron fencing for homeowners and businesses who want an open-view metal fence. We'll help choose the height, top profile, finish, posts, and matching gates that fit the property, then specify the proposed components in the estimate.
Unlike a wood privacy fence, wrought iron leaves the view open. It works around front yards, greenbelts, landscape features and commercial frontage where a visible boundary matters more than screening.
Choose your picket profile
Flat top
A restrained, clean horizontal top line for pools, front yards and modern architecture.
Spear / picket point
A more traditional ornamental look, with visible picket points where the design and local rules permit.
Pressed-point and decorative
More detailed picket or rail treatments for a stronger architectural statement; availability varies by panel system.
Four, five or six feet?
Four-foot fencing is common when openness and a defined boundary are the goal. Five- and six-foot panels can provide a taller perimeter, subject to local height rules and the appropriate post system. Taller does not automatically mean a compliant pool barrier.
For a pool enclosure, the opening sizes, gate swing, self-closing hardware, latch location and the applicable municipal or pool-barrier requirements must all be checked together. We never assume that a standard decorative panel is automatically pool-code compliant.
Posts, corners and matching gates
Even spacing, straight top lines, balanced corners and a consistent finish are what make wrought iron look deliberate. The anchor posts at gates need to handle movement and weight differently than an ordinary panel post. We can coordinate walk or larger entrance gates with the fence profile.
Where black-coated steel meets masonry or wood privacy, the transition should look designed rather than improvised. Coating care matters too: impact chips and exposed steel should be addressed before corrosion spreads.

Frequently asked questions
What styles of wrought iron fencing are available?
Flat-top, spear-point, pressed-point, and other decorative profiles may be available depending on the selected system. We will confirm the actual material and design in the estimate.
Can wrought iron be used around a pool?
Yes, when the chosen fence and gates meet the height, opening, latch, and other pool-barrier requirements that apply to the property. A standard decorative panel is not automatically pool-code compliant.
Can wrought iron connect to a wood fence?
Yes. We can plan transitions between wrought iron, wood privacy fencing, and masonry so the posts and heights line up.
Do you build matching gates?
Yes. Walk gates, double gates, and custom entrances can be designed to coordinate with the surrounding wrought iron fence.
