Chain link earns its place on a property.
For a backyard dog run, long acreage boundary, storage enclosure or commercial service yard, chain link can be the right answer without the expense or visual weight of a solid privacy fence. Pecos installs chain link for homes and businesses—not only industrial sites.
Galvanized or black-coated?
Galvanized steel
Classic silver utility finish, suited to practical boundaries, yards and long runs.
Black vinyl-coated
A darker, less visually prominent appearance for landscaped yards and customer-facing sites.
The fabric is only one part of the system
Terminal posts, line posts, top rails, braces, tension bars, bands and ties work together to keep the fabric stretched and the fence upright. We choose the height and fabric specification around the job, not just the length of the fence line.
A dog enclosure, a small residential yard and a frequently used commercial perimeter can need different fabric strength, bottom clearances, gates and hardware. On uneven terrain, fabric alignment and the lower boundary matter for animal containment.
What about privacy and security?
Chain link is naturally open. Privacy slats or screening may improve visual separation, but they also add wind load, so the posts and overall design must accommodate them. Security and containment should be considered separately from the appearance of the fabric.
Walk gates, double gates and repairs
Gate width and daily traffic influence terminal-post support, hinges and latch choices. For an existing fence, damaged fabric, sagging rails or failed gate hardware may be repairable without tearing down the full run.

Frequently asked questions
Does Pecos install chain link for homes?
Yes. Chain link is available for residential yards, dog areas, side yards, larger properties, and other practical containment needs as well as commercial projects.
Do you offer black chain link fencing?
Yes. Black vinyl-coated chain link can provide the same practical function with a darker finish that blends more naturally into landscaping and residential settings.
Can chain link include walk and drive gates?
Yes. Pedestrian gates, wider drive gates, and other access openings can be planned as part of the fence system.
Can chain link provide more privacy?
Chain link is naturally an open fence, but privacy slats or screening can be considered where additional visual separation is needed.
Do you repair chain link fences?
Yes. Pecos can evaluate damaged fabric, posts, rails, tension components, gates, and partial sections to determine whether repair or replacement is the better value.
